My first week in Los Angeles I spilled an iced matcha latte on Steven Spielberg and literally thought I was going to die. I, of course, did not die. But I think about it. Often.

 

I’m Esme and I’m a freelance costume designer, PA, and writer based in Los Angeles, California. I did my undergrad in screenwriting at Loyola Marymount and I currently divide my time between freelancing sets, writing scripts, and doing everything I can to ensure I never spill another matcha latte again.

 

On this site, you'll find several projects of mine, all varying in stages of development. The purpose of this site is to show that there's a lot you can do with a weekend in southern California, whether it's write a movie or just go on a road trip.
