My first week in Los Angeles I spilled an iced matcha latte on Steven Spielberg and literally thought I was going to die. I, of course, did not die. But I think about it. Often.

 

I’m Esme and I’m based in Los Angeles, California. I got my undergraduate degree in screenwriting and philosophy at Loyola Marymount and am currently getting my MFA at USC for film production. I just wrapped directing my first feature film, and am doing everything I can to ensure I never spill another matcha latte again.

 

On this site, you'll find several projects of mine, whether I was the writer or producer, all varying in stages of development. The purpose of this site is to show that there's a lot you can do with a weekend in southern California, whether it's write a movie or just go on a road trip.
