Road Trips in SoCal

One of the best things about living in southern California is the nature. Here, the sand is fine and the mountains turn purple when the sun sets. Especially being from Manhattan New York, there just wasn't a lot of nature immersion happening when I was growing up. For the last 2 years, I've been using every excuse I can come up to find a reason to hop in the car and go somewhere random.

Whether it was somewhere popular like Joshua Tree, or somewhere more niche like the abandoned train on the Mexican-California border, we found that there was never a shortage of things to do.
